After several weeks of work, the first phase of construction, framing, was finished up in early July! It’s been amazing to see the space come together, and with walls, floors, and doorways, you can finally start visualizing what it will be like when it’s complete. Next up is electrical, followed by HVAC and plumbing.

August 17, 2022. 612 days ago. That’s when the idea of what would become Oaks on Main was first birthed out of a meeting between Freedom Church and the Boone County Economic Development Corporation. It honestly didn’t seem like it would go anywhere beyond that initial meeting. “That would be cool, but there’s no way we can make it happen,” was our initial response. But God kept opening doors and making it evident that this idea was something on our horizon.
